1. Who can use Qadr

To use Qadr you must:

If you are using Qadr on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Your account

You may use Qadr without creating an account for the duration of the free trial. To continue using Qadr after the trial, you must create an account.

You are responsible for:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used unlawfully.

3. Subscriptions and payments

3.1 Free trial

New users receive a 14-day free trial of Qadr's full features. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription.

3.2 Subscription plans

Qadr is offered on two subscription plans:

Prices may vary by region as set by Apple and Google. The prices shown to you in the app are the prices that apply to your account.

3.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), not directly by us. Your payment information is held by Apple or Google and never reaches our servers.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

3.4 Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us. To request a refund, contact Apple Support (for iOS purchases) or Google Play Support (for Android purchases). We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

3.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change affects your subscription. If you do not agree to the new price, you can cancel before the next renewal.

4. Your content

4.1 What you own

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Qadr. This includes your goals, your daily reflections, your check-in answers, and any other text you write in the app.

We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

4.2 What you allow us to do

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the app's features to you. This licence ends when you delete your account.

When you use the AI coaching feature, you grant us permission to send a summary of your data to Anthropic for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4.3 Sharing via Connections

If you choose to connect with another user via Connections, you authorise us to share with them:

You do not share your written content, daily check-in answers, or any other personal data through this feature. You can remove any connection at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.

6. Religious content

Qadr is built to support Muslim users in their personal practice. The app includes:

We have taken care to source all religious content from recognised authentic sources. However, Qadr is not a religious authority. The app is a tool to support your personal practice, not a substitute for guidance from qualified scholars.

For matters of fiqh, rulings, or detailed religious questions, please consult a qualified scholar or imam.

7. AI coaching

The "Your Coach" feature uses artificial intelligence to generate weekly reflections based on your data. You acknowledge that:

If you are experiencing serious mental health difficulties or distress, please speak to a qualified professional or a person you trust. The app's "This isn't right" feedback option allows you to flag any AI response you find unhelpful.

8. Privacy

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at hello@techniquetechnologies.com so we can try to resolve it directly. Most issues can be resolved this way.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK or the EU, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.

If we do not enforce a right or provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive the right to enforce it later.
